Governance
The strategic priorities of Scotland's Learning Partnership are set by a Board of Directors elected from our membership.
Strategic Board
The Company Board has overall responsibility for all activities and meets three times per year. The Company Board of Directors are elected at the Annual General Meeting (held in February/March each year) for up to a 3-year term of office. The AGM also considers for approval the audited accounts and balance sheets, with the annual reports of the Company Board and auditors. The AGM also appoints the auditors.
The Providers' Forum
The Learners' Forum
The learners' forum meets five times per yeat to develop and plan and deliver their work programme. The forum acts on behalf of the Board in making policy responses and developing new projects that specifically target and involve learners. Two representatives of the forum sit on the strategic board to ensure information exchange and target group expertise.
Campaigns Committee
The Campaigns Committee acts in an advisory capacity to our Strategic Board. It is the role of the Committee to determine the campaign activities which reflect the best interests of adult learners and to represent these interests to government, local authorities, the private sector and the public at large.
